Since opening our own homeschool, these are the websites I’ve found most beneficial. You’ll find yourself revisiting them time and time again.
1. HSLDA – Homeschool Legal Defense Association. There is a membership for those needing legal representation, but you’ll find homeschool laws by state and step-by-step instructions for filing your Notice of Intent. There is even guidance for homeschooling in Canada.
2. Cathy Duffy Reviews – This blog is super helpful in choosing a homeschool curriculum. She writes very thorough reviews about curriculum, including links of where to find it
3. Office of Non-Public Education – Each state has their own website, where you’ll find information specific to your state in regards to homeschooling. You’ll even find homeschool groups in your area listed by region.
If you haven’t joined our private online homeschool community yet, what are you waiting for? You’ll find thousands of parents just like you navigating the homeschool world. There are even groups for each of the 50 states, and countries outside the states, where you can find families in your local area.
