It’s true, there are some things your child is going to miss out on because you chose to homeschool them. Here are a few things we thought of.
- Homeschooled children miss out on the bullying from other students (and even teachers)
- The fluorescent lighting.
- Sitting at one of those uncomfortable desks for 8 hours.
- Riding in the noisy rickety bus with no seat belts.
- The things on their friend’s phones.
- Age inappropriate lessons.
- Drag Queen story hour.
- Peer orientation, which we are finding is more damaging than we could imagine.
- Homeschoolers are “weird” because they miss out on the latest trends.
- They are less inclined toward group think and more inclined towards independent thinking.
