In Elementary school, I remember when they introduced our class to the Food Pyramid. It was considered the peak of nutrition science and a healthy diet. Over the years since then, we’ve seen trends and fads in health, such as low fat, low carb, vegetarian, vegan, carnivore. Where do you begin to know what’s “right”? How can you teach your child when you’re navigating the waters yourself?
All the major curriculum companies offer some sort of Health curriculum, so we won’t list those here, but here are a few unique courses we found that focus specifically on teaching how to eat a healthy, balanced diet.
