These terms and conditions can be hard to read. We tried to summarize each section (summaries are in italics). This does not absolve you from reading the entire terms and conditions… it’s simply done to reinforce our policies and to help you discern what you’ve read.

Overview

CLASSICAL LEARNER INC is a United States OF AMERICA website and an independently operated blog subject to the laws of United States Of America’s laws. This website was not created to serve, nor does it actively market to residents of the EU (European Union).

The terms, “I”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CLASSICAL LEARNER The term “Site” refers to www.ClassicalLearner.com.

The term “Shop” refers to the shop section of CLASSICAL LEARNER INC. The terms “user”, “you” and “your” refer to site visitors, customers, and any other users of the site.

CLASSICAL LEARNER INC is a blog where users can read articles about parenting tips, encouragement, homemaking, faith, education, and additional resources (the “Content”). We also sell digital goods (the “Products”) related to our content. The aforementioned will herein be referred to as the “Service”.

Use of CLASSICAL LEARNER INC, including all materials presented herein, is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all site visitors, customers, and all other users of the site.

By using the Site or Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, without modification, and acknowledge reading them.

  • We’re in the United States of America and do not actively market to EU residents.
  • We want you to know what all these pronouns are in our policies. 
  • In order to use our website, you agree to our terms and conditions.

Use of the Site and Service

Information provided on the Site are subject to change. CLASSICAL LEARNER INC makes no representation or warranty that the information provided, regardless of its source (the “Content”), is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. CLASSICAL LEARNER INC disclaims all liability for any inaccuracy, error, or incompleteness in the Content. If you find an error in any of our content, you are welcome to contact us. We make the final decision whether or not we will correct the error.

This site runs 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Access to CLASSICAL LEARNER INC may be temporarily or permanently suspended and without notice at my own discretion, due to updates or technical issues beyond my control. We will not be liable if for any reason the website is unavailable for any period of time.

  • I’m bound to misspell words or a website may go off-line (which means there’s a dead link). We invite you to report any errors you find in our content, but we may or may not correct said errors.
  • Access to this site may be temporarily or permanently suspended.
  • Sometimes our site goes offline due to technical issues.
  • We try to resolve technical conditions as soon as possible.
  • We aren’t liable for your use of this site being interrupted or suspended.

Homeschools Connected

In joining Homeschools Connected new members gain access to downloadable curriculum owned and created by CLASSICAL LEARNER INC.  The curriculum includes and is not limited to lesson plans, unit studies, pre-recorded courses, and live classes. Use of these materials is for personal use only, and sharing CLASSICAL LEARNER INC curriculum with other individuals or for commercial use is prohibited without the express written consent of CLASSICAL LEARNER INC.

 

All content included in or made available through CLASSICAL LEARNER INC and Homeschools Connected, such as but not limited to lesson plans, unit studies, pre-recorded courses, live classes, graphics, and logos, are the property of CLASSICAL LEARNER INC and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. The compilation of all content included in or made available through CLASSICAL LEARNER INC is the exclusive property of CLASSICAL LEARNER INC – which includes Homeschools Connected and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

 

Safety policy: Parents and legal guardians are solely responsible for the supervision and safety of their children. CLASSICAL LEARNER INC curriculum and Homeschools Connected includes activities that can be dangerous and result in serious bodily harm, severe burns, property damage, or death. CLASSICAL LEARNER INC is not responsible for any injury or harm that occurs. Safety recommendations made in CLASSICAL LEARNER INC curriculum should NOT be considered exclusive and parents/ legal guardians are responsible for researching, setting up, and implementing proper safety procedures for any activity that include the use of tools, fluctuating temperatures, ingesting food or drinks, or other interactive and physically demanding activities.

 

Homeschools Connected includes links to affiliated companies and certain other businesses.  If you purchase any of the products or services offered by these businesses or individuals, you are purchasing directly from those third parties, not from CLASSICAL LEARNER INC. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant, the offerings of any of these businesses or individuals (including the content of their Web sites). CLASSICAL LEARNER INC does not assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, product, and content of all these and any other third parties. You should carefully review their privacy statements and other conditions of use. Failure to do so could result in serious bodily harm, severe burns, property damage, or death. For example, the category titled “Construction” links to books designed to teach wood working and carpentry. These books could include activities such as the use of power tools.  Parents are responsible for researching, setting up, and implementing proper safety procedures.

 

Upon joining Homeschools Connected members gain access to the Homeschools Connected community.  CLASSICAL LEARNER INC does not vet individual members for authenticity or provide background checks.  CLASSICAL LEARNER INC does not recommend sharing personal information. Parents/ legal guardians are responsible for using their own discretion.

 

The Homeschools Connected pen pal program allows parents to connect and arrange for their children to write letters to one another.  CLASSICAL LEARNER INC does not vet members for authenticity or provide background checks.  Parents and legal guardians are responsible for using their own discretion and monitoring the letters.  The pen pal program is designed for digital sharing.  We recommend scanning letters and emailing them to partnered pen pal families.  We do not recommend sharing personal information such as addresses and doing so is at the discretion of the parent/ legal guardian.  Sharing personal information to unvetted people over the internet can be dangerous and result in serious bodily harm, injury, loss or damage to property, or death.

 

Homeschools Connected is designed to connect homeschool parents to discuss homeschooling, education, and life.  Further, children have access to the platform. CLASSICAL LEARNER INC encourages open conversation but requires that it take place in a respectful manor.  Trolling, personal attacks, bullying, harassment, sexually inappropriate comments or material, intimidating other members, or excess discussion of a topic that dominates the chat areas could result in being muted and/ or banned from the platform.

 

We provide links to the sites of affiliated companies and certain other businesses.  If you purchase any of the products or services offered by these businesses or individuals, you are purchasing directly from those third parties, not from CLASSICAL LEARNER INC. Refund Policy: You may set your subscription to cancel at any time during the learning experience, you continue to have access to Homeschools Connected up until your subscription renewal date. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the information provided, we are not able to issue refunds once the subscription is paid and you have accessed Homeschools Connected. If you have any issues or questions email them to classicallearnertoday@gmail.com. We have the right to remove you for any reason without a refund. If you cancel and re-join you will be at the new current pricing.

PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS

We host some of our products through third-party sellers (i.e. Amazon, etc.). We have chosen to sell our products this way because the safety and security of your payment information is of the utmost importance. As a small independent, self-publishing website, we can not invest in a robust payment system to be housed within our own site. This is why we have selected reputable 3rd party sellers to host our products.

Be aware that when you purchase a product from us through their site, you are subject to their terms and services. It is your responsibility to read and agree to those terms.

Our digital products are non-refundable. Please be aware of this BEFORE you make a purchase. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, you are more than welcome to contact us as your input could help us improve the product if we choose to revise it in the future.

  • When you purchase a product, you will be taken to a secure off-site location to make your purchase. These are reputable sites which have been in operation for years (i.e. Amazon, PayPal, etc.)
  • By using and purchasing from these sites, you agree to their terms & services.
  • Refunds are not issued for our digital products. You are welcome to contact us if you have any feedback or questions.

COMMENT POLICY

Comments are welcomed and encouraged on CLASSICAL LEARNER INC but will be edited or removed if they contain profanity or content which could be offensive to others, are deemed to be spam, or attack other users.

If it is your first time commenting on CLASSICAL LEARNER INC, your comment will be held in cue for approval. Subsequent comments are auto-published.

We use a reputable spam filter which removes comments flagged as spam. Rarely, legitimate comments are accidentally deleted. We are not liable for deleted comments.

We do not have to publish comments. We reserve the right to turn off the commenting feature on this website.

The comment you submit in a comment box in a post on CLASSICAL LEARNER INC is NOT private or confidential. While the email is NEVER shared or disclosed, the name you choose to submit, the URL you share, and the comment you make is public and is not protected. If wanting to feature a blog post / article you may quote a short snippet (2-3 sentences) from the post which MUST link back to the original post on CLASSICAL LEARNER INC/ www.ClassicalLearner.com. You may NOT post the entire blog post, or any written material without prior permission. Action will be taken if you are found to be in violation.
